An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Pelin in the 3rd minute of play forced El Expreso's goalkeeper Dennis Baldwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Pelin in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Baldwin saved El Expreso from getting behind. Calvin Hollingsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dennis Baldwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Club Atlétic Incles's Dinu Pelin in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Expreso's goalie prevented a goal. Angelino Abancens made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Ivor Whitehead sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Dinu Pelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Baldwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes El Expreso got a freekick which was hit by Ivor Whitehead. After 38 played minutes El Expreso got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Negrescu. In the 38th minute of the match Calvin Hollingsworth shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dennis Baldwin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dennis Baldwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Pelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Club Atlétic Incles's Dinu Pelin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Baldwin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The El Expreso players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlétic Incles were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edu de Sousa to make the kick off. Angelino Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivor Whitehead in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Club Atlétic Incles's Dinu Pelin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Baldwin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calvin Hollingsworth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Dennis Baldwin made a huge save. With his leg Dennis Baldwin managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Club Atlétic Incles's Dinu Pelin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dennis Baldwin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calvin Hollingsworth went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dennis Baldwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Pelin in the 68th minute of the match. Ivor Whitehead hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Dinu Pelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. In the 86th minute, Calvin Hollingsworth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Baldwin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Angelino Abancens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu de Sousa went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Club Atlétic Incles's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
