In the 10th minute, Scott Le Saux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Scott Le Saux took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Colin Colt to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Nestor Bâru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Colin Colt. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. In the 24th minute, Nestor Bâru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Colin Colt was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 27 minutes of play, FC Soldeu's Darren Blewitt made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Colin Colt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colin Colt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Bâru's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Scott Le Saux put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Colin Colt. After 38 played minutes Carpathia got a freekick which was hit by Viktor László. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Bâru in the 42nd minute of play forced Carpathia's goalkeeper Colin Colt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Darren Blewitt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Colin Colt was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carpathia's Colin Colt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Blewitt in the 62nd minute of play. Colin Colt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Bâru in the 63rd minute of the match. Nestor Bâru made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Carpathia's Les Deighton. After some careless play in the Carpathia defense, Darren Blewitt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Colin Colt. The Carpathia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colin Colt should have stopped the shot. Colin Colt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Darren Blewitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colin Colt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Darren Blewitt notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Carpathia's Colin Colt. Colin Colt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
