Tang Di Nan made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joseph Smits immediately put the ball in play. Ulises Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathijs Rokeloos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Herman Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommie Jorna got free with Jean-Louis Van Bever in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes in the game Tang Di Nan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tommie Jorna. After some careless play in the KFC Cromvelde defense, Tommie Jorna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Louis Van Bever. The KFC Cromvelde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Louis Van Bever should have stopped the shot. KFC Cromvelde's Dé 武松 was substituted for Eugenio Cirulli. A well-hit corner resulted in Karl-Heinz Kaltz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the match was over AFC Koolkerke could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KFC Cromvelde throughout the match.
