Herberto Riba came out of the goal and Rafael Calatayud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herberto Riba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Buendia in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Skull Team's Jordi Rienda got a free kick in the 12th minute. Jose-Enrique Reina was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Skull Team booed when Cosuenda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Campoamor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Alarico Camarasa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Herberto Riba to make any attempt to save it. Herberto Riba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alarico Camarasa in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Skull Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jose-Enrique Reina came free, but Arturo Erosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 25 minutes on the clock, Baldovino Cameno commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Skull Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cosuenda:s goal. In the 28th minute Damaso Buendia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herberto Riba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Campoamor hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Zunbeltz Cañadas took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herberto Riba. Herberto Riba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Herberto Riba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alarico Camarasa in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the game, Skull Team's Zunbeltz Cañadas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herberto Riba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Arturo Erosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose-Enrique Reina in the 44th minute of the match. Cosuenda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Damaso Buendia scored to the left of an out of position Herberto Riba, making the score, 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Alarico Camarasa scored 6-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herberto Riba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute Inocencio Titos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herberto Riba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alarico Camarasa scored 7-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herberto Riba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Skull Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerold Erosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herberto Riba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herberto Riba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alarico Camarasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
