The audience thought a goal was coming when Rikard Misje got free with Eduard Aasamaa in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benvide Valerón took the corner. Bogdan Iorgu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rikard Misje to strike the kick off in the second half. Nayely Mendez got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ray Comas. Eduard Aasamaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Misje, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rikard Misje in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduard Aasamaa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingo Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benvide Valerón in the 91st minute of play. Lauro Nunes made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ray Comas immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to tribal la rapita getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Lauro Nunes hit a great ball. When Rikard Misje came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Gambica Roja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rikard Misje couldn't finish the play. Gambica Roja's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
