Domingo Maria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cotinho F.C. Godofredo Cuervas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rikard Misje went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Alvar Buenafuente made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rodolfo Rossello immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Misje in the 19th minute of play forced Cotinho F.C's goalkeeper Godofredo Cuervas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gambica Roja's attentive Isidoro Balcells managed to snatch the ball when Cruz Cao made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Etxeberri Sarrate during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gambica Roja made a substitution. Bonifacio Gimenez replaced Rikard Misje. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Cotinho F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gambica Roja:s goal. Gambica Roja's attentive Isidoro Balcells managed to snatch the ball when Cruz Cao made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. Godofredo Cuervas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Gimenez in the 28th minute of the match. Gambica Roja's Isidoro Balcells quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cruz Cao, made in the 29th minute of the game. Frantzes Manrique sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifacio Gimenez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godofredo Cuervas having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Bonifacio Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gambica Roja's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Gimenez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Cuervas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Bonifacio Gimenez made a precise shot to the right of Godofredo Cuervas. Cotinho F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Godofredo Cuervas came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Gambica Roja's Bonifacio Gimenez. But to his dismay, Bonifacio Gimenez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 43rd minute, Bonifacio Gimenez made a precise shot to the right of Godofredo Cuervas. Cotinho F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bonifacio Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Isidoro Balcells ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godofredo Cuervas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Cotinho F.C's Godofredo Cuervas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Gimenez in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Gambica Roja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bieito Mandelo to maneuver through the defense. Godofredo Cuervas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Valcho Nenchev. Godofredo Cuervas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Gimenez in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cotinho F.C's zone, Bonifacio Gimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Cuervas came out of the goal and Bonifacio Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute of the match, Isidoro Balcells got a very nice opportunity to score, but Godofredo Cuervas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Gimenez in the 83rd minute of play forced Cotinho F.C's goalkeeper Godofredo Cuervas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmine Bolognini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godofredo Cuervas having to make a save. 89 minutes in the game Cruz Cao did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rodolfo Rossello. In the 94th minute, Santana Marcilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Olo Rienda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gambica Roja played a much better game than Cotinho F.C and deserved their victory. The Cotinho F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
