The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrej Kramarić got free with Boleslaw Jaktorowo in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, --Sibenik--'s goal looked a bit too open when Danijel Petrlin came free, but Kubat Aydınoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Tibor Ďumbier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kubat Aydınoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Warka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danijel Petrlin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrej Kramarić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Jaktorowo having to interfere. Nikola Haramina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Boleslaw Jaktorowo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maksimir's Adrijan Grbović was substituted for Tibor Ďumbier. Maksimir's Adam Dodaj was substituted for Billie Denijs. Maksimir's Boleslaw Jaktorowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrej Kramarić in the 60th minute of play. Jorge Seixas charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Seixas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maksimir's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Hrste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kubat Aydınoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jasenko Rogošić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. In the 88th match minute, --Sibenik-- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikola Haramina to maneuver through the defense. Andrej Kramarić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Maksimir players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented --Sibenik-- from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
