Kazimir Pendo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marin Pejaković read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FK ORLOVI's zone, Jakab Soós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marin Pejaković came out of the goal and Jakab Soós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimir Pendo in the 13th minute of play forced FK ORLOVI's goalkeeper Marin Pejaković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, NK Dubrava Zagreb's Kazimir Pendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marin Pejaković made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Kazimir Pendo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FK ORLOVI's Marin Pejaković. Marin Pejaković was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimir Pendo in the 24th minute of play forced FK ORLOVI's goalkeeper Marin Pejaković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, NK Dubrava Zagreb's Kazimir Pendo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marin Pejaković narrowly saved just below the crossbar. NK Dubrava Zagreb's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Charles Mariano in the 27th minute. Kazimir Pendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, NK Dubrava Zagreb's goalkeeper Kent Klint had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dobrica Maksić. In the 37th match minute, NK Dubrava Zagreb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Mariano to maneuver through the defense. NK Dubrava Zagreb's Kazimir Pendo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When NK Dubrava Zagreb's Kazimir Pendo in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK ORLOVI's goalie prevented a goal. If Kazimir Pendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute Kazimir Pendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Pejaković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dobrica Maksić made a kick off. If Jakab Soós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Dobrica Maksić notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of NK Dubrava Zagreb's Kent Klint. Kent Klint was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kazimir Pendo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marin Pejaković. Marin Pejaković dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kazimir Pendo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marin Pejaković prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, NK Dubrava Zagreb's Ludo Lambert got a free kick in the 68th minute. The supporters of NK Dubrava Zagreb booed when FK ORLOVI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nedeljko Simčević didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marin Pejaković made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Gordan Sedmak sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the match, Gordan Sedmak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marin Pejaković. FK ORLOVI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gordan Sedmak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After 79 played minutes FK ORLOVI got a freekick which was hit by Nedeljko Simčević. NK Dubrava Zagreb made a substitution. Antun Zahora replaced Jakab Soós. In the 80th match minute, FK ORLOVI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nedeljko Simčević to maneuver through the defense. Gordan Sedmak scored 1-5 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marin Pejaković, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vince Kováts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Klint having to interfere. The NK Dubrava Zagreb fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when NK Dubrava Zagreb's Gordan Sedmak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 93 minutes into the game, one of FK ORLOVI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for NK Dubrava Zagreb. Ilko Lokin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marin Pejaković. 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gordan Sedmak got free with Marin Pejaković in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dobrica Maksić fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK ORLOVI's protests and gave Dobrica Maksić a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. NK Dubrava Zagreb had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
