Hawkcombe's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mattias Werner 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. In the 40th minute, Theo Behringer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Evil Project's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Müller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Hawkcombe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theo Behringer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. There was no doubt that The Evil Project were the better team. The Evil Project's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
