With a couple of smart ball manuevers 庄彬皓 in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hong Cheng Cheng saved FC Lëtzebuerg from getting behind. Miguel Sanches's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Winkler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Lëtzebuerg's Dalibor Stefanovski got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Joseph Mayer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hong Cheng Cheng skillfully saved the ball. Fredrik Winkler was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miguel Sanches showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Ipswich Town's Fredrik Winkler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ipswich Town from getting a goal against them. Fredrik Winkler was a little too slow when Miguel Sanches got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. 26 minutes into the match, Pierre Malet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fredrik Winkler, 4-0. Paul Kirchen hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Fredrik Winkler acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wang Yi Nan. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Lëtzebuerg's Miguel Sanches slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fredrik Winkler. That made the score 5-0 after 31 minutes of play. Ipswich Town's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Miguel Sanches scored to the left of an out of position Fredrik Winkler, making the score, 6-0. Yannick Bartz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fredrik Winkler came out and tried to block the shot, but Yannick Bartz slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 37th minute. Fredrik Winkler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Sanches's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ipswich Town's goalkeeper Fredrik Winkler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fredrik Winkler made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Miguel Sanches sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Sanches was the one to do the kick off. If Miguel Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Winkler having to interfere. Leo Böhm charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Böhm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leo Böhm hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Miguel Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yannick Bartz took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredrik Winkler. Fredrik Winkler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. When FC Lëtzebuerg's Miguel Sanches in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ipswich Town's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th minute, Miguel Sanches left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Sanches in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredrik Winkler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ipswich Town's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wang Yi Nan was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Lëtzebuerg's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Lëtzebuerg's corner Wang Yi Nan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fredrik Winkler quite easily take care of the ball. Ipswich Town's Fredrik Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Sanches in the 82nd minute of play. Fredrik Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Miguel Sanches notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Ipswich Town's Fredrik Winkler. Fredrik Winkler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ipswich Town players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Lëtzebuerg.
