Eddy Diederich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Werner in the 27th minute of play. Silvester Drachmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armin Baumgärtner having to make a save. Lutz Knubel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Baumgärtner having to interfere. Abraham Müller was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, one of The Evil Project:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for LuxTor. Hugo Thorn stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armin Baumgärtner. 1-2. In the 41st minute, Andre Fabel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LuxTor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lutz Knubel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eddy Diederich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Werner, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 1-4 became the score in the 54th minute when Lutz Knubel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in The Evil Project's zone, Silvester Drachmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armin Baumgärtner came out of the goal and Silvester Drachmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Werner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eddy Diederich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Theo Behringer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Diederich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andre Rosenkranz hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. With a little luck, The Evil Project's Armin Baumgärtner got control of the ball when Lutz Knubel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Siegfried Reuter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armin Baumgärtner, 1-5. The Evil Project's Theo Behringer got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lutz Knubel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Armin Baumgärtner made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Rosenkranz in the 80th minute of play forced LuxTor's goalkeeper Eddy Diederich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Andre Fabel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armin Baumgärtner. That made the score 1-6 in the 82 minute of play. Eddy Diederich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Behringer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Mattias Werner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Diederich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, LuxTor's Lutz Knubel made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armin Baumgärtner was left in no man's land by his defense there! LuxTor's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
