The supporters of Sheep United booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Joop Bakker managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters rose to their feet, but Joop Bakker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerwin Broerse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerwin Broerse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Kjellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Kjellman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerwin Broerse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Alvaro Errando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Maurício Bomba made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Dan Kjellman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerwin Broerse was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 43rd match minute, Sheep United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Norberg to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Errando made a kick off. Maurício Bomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Errando in the 51st minute of the match. After 52 minutes FC Bal op het Dak's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diego Sánchez who took care of the corner kick. Patrick Norberg was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Maurício Bomba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Errando came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Errando took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurício Bomba. Maurício Bomba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. FC Bal op het Dak's Iwan Valentijn was substituted for Martijn August. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Marick Brunt replaced Aristides Gombal. 67 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Errando came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerwin Broerse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwan Valentijn, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The FC Bal op het Dak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Bomba should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sheep United fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Bal op het Dak had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
