The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk van Zwieten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wlodzimierz Kochanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind SCs StarS's goalkeeper Petr Čech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Henk van Zwieten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Petr Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sons of Strategy's Jan de Boer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Gol in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, SCs StarS's Thiago Gol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan de Boer. Jan de Boer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 31st minute, Luka Ramos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 37th minute, Thiago Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SCs StarS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folker Diggele in the 40th minute of play. If Thiago Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 48th minute, 罗松棋 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henk van Zwieten made a kick off. SCs StarS's Jordy Dirks got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thiago Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan de Boer having to make a save. Jan de Boer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Hekman to maneuver through the defense. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Pool in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, 罗松棋 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes Sons of Strategy got a freekick which was hit by Marinus Abbenbroek. In the 68th minute of the match Wlodzimierz Kochanowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan de Boer skillfully saved the ball. In the 73rd match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Hekman to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Thiago Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petr Čech was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Arnold Pool capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnold Pool really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk van Zwieten in the 81st minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Sons of Strategy's Petr Čech threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arjen de Boer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Petr Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henk van Zwieten in the 93rd minute.
