Kjønstad BF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Odd-Eirik Kronstad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Cedro's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Odd-Eirik Kronstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halvard Knutsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Odd-Eirik Kronstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halvard Knutsen in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Kjønstad BF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Yngvar Roth hit a great ball. Kjønstad BF's Celso Cedro managed to work through Vebbestad's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Celso Cedro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Fred Bonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Asimov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halvard Knutsen in the 42nd minute of play forced Vebbestad's goalkeeper Odd-Eirik Kronstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Kjønstad BF's Fred Bonk got control of the ball when Isaac Asimov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Asimov in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fred Bonk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peng Yu Feng kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Kjønstad BF made a substitution. Raymond Engevik replaced Celso Cedro. The supporters of Kjønstad BF booed when Vebbestad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peng Yu Feng didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raymond Engevik to make the kick off. In the 62ndth minute of the game Isaac Asimov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kjønstad BF's Fred Bonk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaac Asimov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Bonk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Vebbestad made a substitution. Cent Husabø replaced Bengt-Arne Chaadaev. Kjønstad BF's Rene Egoitz was substituted for Lars Gausdal. In the 71st minute, Isaac Asimov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gökhan Zane kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Odd-Eirik Kronstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Engevik, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Raymond Engevik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Odd-Eirik Kronstad. That made the score 1-1 in the 92 minute of play. Kjønstad BF's Fred Bonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Asimov in the 96th minute of play. Fred Bonk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Asimov, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
