The corner ended in Gard Bredesen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RotløsFotball IL's Per-Kristian Andvik did a great save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Gard Bredesen came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the POPODARA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gard Bredesen couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim got control of the ball when Runar Helliesen tried to sneak it across the goal line.
