In the 3rd minute Herbert Lipinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Hellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TEAM Hawkeye's Herbert Lipinski got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, TEAM Hawkeye's goalkeeper Knut Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Folke Skoglund. Ralf Blomberg made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ralf Blomberg however managed to control. Fred Hellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Lipinski in the 18th minute of the match. Kumla BK's Fred Hellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Lipinski in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rosendo Moreno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fred Hellqvist was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 24 minutes, Rosendo Moreno made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kumla BK's Fred Hellqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert Lipinski in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Hellqvist saved Kumla BK from getting behind. Fred Hellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Lipinski in the 38th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Herbert Lipinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Hellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Folke Skoglund made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kumla BK's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Recemill came free, but Fred Hellqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Kumla BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patrik Lagerberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, TEAM Hawkeye's Ralf Blomberg got a free kick in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Recemill in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Hellqvist saved Kumla BK from getting behind. Fred Hellqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Ekström in the 62nd minute of play. Patrik Lagerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Fred Hellqvist made a huge save. In the 66th match minute, Kumla BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Vester to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calle Vester during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fred Hellqvist came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by TEAM Hawkeye's Rosendo Moreno. But to his dismay, Rosendo Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Patrik Lagerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Fred Hellqvist made a huge save. Kumla BK's Fred Hellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Ekström in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Patrik Lagerberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TEAM Hawkeye's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kumla BK the free kick. The supporters of Kumla BK booed when TEAM Hawkeye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Lagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Kumla BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Vesterberg to maneuver through the defense. If Patrik Lagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Hellqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Lagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute of the match TEAM Hawkeye got a corner. Kumla BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mats Söder ran over to the corner to take the kick. TEAM Hawkeye's Mats Söder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fred Hellqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Fred Hellqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when TEAM Hawkeye's Patrik Lagerberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fred Hellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Lagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TEAM Hawkeye's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
