Jagad Man fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Blomqvist having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Fulham Broadway FC got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Ahlstedt. Fulham Broadway FC's Börje Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Smitt in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Johnny Ahlstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fulham Broadway FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Ahlstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Kellbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olov Kellbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Edvin Unesson in the 30th minute. Börje Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Smitt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Kellbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Unesson in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Ellen Bow Bojs's goalkeeper Olov Kellbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Edvin Unesson. Johnny Ahlstedt hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rudolf Nordstedt made the kick off in the second half. Ellen Bow Bojs's Mats Hurtig was substituted for Hans Smitt. Börje Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Lop in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Pumarino in the 67th minute of play forced Fulham Broadway FC's goalkeeper Börje Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes Fulham Broadway FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jagad Man who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ellen Bow Bojs's Jagad Man to fire away a dangerous shot which Börje Blomqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Ellen Bow Bojs booed when Fulham Broadway FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Lustig didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Eddie Eriksson in the 71st minute really tested Börje Blomqvist's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 74 minutes into the game, Sven-Edvin Unesson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Olov Kellbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ellen Bow Bojs booed when Fulham Broadway FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Tingelholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jagad Man recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sixten Norberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olov Kellbom. Ellen Bow Bojs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Ellen Bow Bojs's Eddie Eriksson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Olov Kellbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Nordstedt in the 86th minute of play. Fulham Broadway FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sixten Norberg in the 88th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Rudolf Bergqvist advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-2 in the 88th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
