In the 6th minute Olov Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Malmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Kart in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carl-Chester Vallgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Bruhn got free with Carl-Chester Vallgren in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Kart in the 11th minute of play. In the 19th minute Mario Kart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl-Chester Vallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Kart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Carl-Chester Vallgren made a huge save. Mario Kart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lufsarna booed when VBL Stockholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carl-Chester Vallgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolis Matsaggos in the 34th minute. Manolis Matsaggos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Carl-Chester Vallgren made a huge save. Carl-Chester Vallgren was a little too slow when Mario Kart got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 45th minute, Karl-Ove Askstedt had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olov Johnsson during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lufsarna made a substitution. Sven-Arne Kruuse replaced Karl-Ove Askstedt. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Mario Kart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl-Chester Vallgren was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, Manolis Matsaggos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl-Chester Vallgren. VBL Stockholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manolis Matsaggos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Lufsarna made a substitution. Gert Dahlqvist replaced Christoffer Engman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olov Johnsson got free with Charlie Malmgren in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolis Matsaggos in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolis Matsaggos in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl-Chester Vallgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Bruhn, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute Anders Willig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl-Chester Vallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl-Chester Vallgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikhail Agutin's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, VBL Stockholm's Torbjörn Grönlund got a free kick in the 82nd minute. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Lindberg in the 83rd minute of play. If Anders Willig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Christopher Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gert Dahlqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute, Anders Willig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl-Chester Vallgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When the referee ended the match the Lufsarna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
