After 4 played minutes FC LIVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by Controller Junel. FC LIVERPOOL's Frank Pearce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save FC LIVERPOOL from getting a goal against them. FC LIVERPOOL's Gong Yi Feng got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, FC LIVERPOOL's Gazanfer Canıtez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Dudek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Matthew Watkins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Frank Pearce made a huge save. When Gazanfer Canıtez came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FC LIVERPOOL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gazanfer Canıtez couldn't finish the play. Fred Tutorskiy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for George Dudek. Oakham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. George Dudek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Yi Feng in the 24th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Oakham's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Yi Feng came free, but George Dudek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Gazanfer Canıtez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Dudek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Julian Joachim made a precise shot to the right of Frank Pearce. FC LIVERPOOL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, Oakham's Frank Pearce threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Joachim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, FC LIVERPOOL's Frank Pearce got control of the ball when Julian Joachim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Pearce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Joachim in the 42nd minute of play. After 47 played minutes Oakham got a freekick which was hit by Dom Griggs. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gazanfer Canıtez was the one to do the kick off. FC LIVERPOOL's Frank Pearce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cody Steel in the 93rd minute of play. FC LIVERPOOL were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Oakham's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Lester took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Didi Tondu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Oakham were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC LIVERPOOL for a fine match.
