Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álfgeir Hannibalsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álfgeir Hannibalsson in the 7th minute of play. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristján Ófeigsson in the 8th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Guðvin Skúlason kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Sölvi Dagfinnsson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Sölvi Dagfinnsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Feiko FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Æsir Ásgarðr the free kick. A collision led to Feiko FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sölvi Dagfinnsson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristján Ófeigsson in the 16th minute of play forced Feiko FC's goalkeeper Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feiko FC's Max Hrafnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álfgeir Hannibalsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Æsir Ásgarðr fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Æsir Ásgarðr's Álfgeir Hannibalsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álfgeir Hannibalsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guðvin Skúlason showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Feiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristján Ófeigsson came free, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Æsir Ásgarðr were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Feiko FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marel Ingimundarson took the corner. Æsir Ásgarðr's Marel Ingimundarson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristján Ófeigsson in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Álfgeir Hannibalsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a rather tough play, Æsir Ásgarðr's Lárus Arnleifsson got a free kick in the 46th minute. Eldór Hreiðarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Týrsson in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Eldór Hreiðarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Örnólfur Hannesson in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Álfgeir Hannibalsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Álfgeir Hannibalsson sped through Feiko FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. Kristján Ófeigsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álfgeir Hannibalsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eldór Hreiðarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl Týrsson in the 81st minute. Æsir Ásgarðr's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Karl Týrsson scored to the left of an out of position Eldór Hreiðarsson, making the score, 6-1. After having played for 87 minutes, Álfgeir Hannibalsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Æsir Ásgarðr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álfgeir Hannibalsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Æsir Ásgarðr's Kristján Ófeigsson. But to his dismay, Kristján Ófeigsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álfgeir Hannibalsson in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Feiko FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marel Ingimundarson was slow to take the kick. During this time Æsir Ásgarðr's players had a chance to rest. Marel Ingimundarson made a great header on Æsir Ásgarðr's corner, it was just that Feiko FC's Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Æsir Ásgarðr walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
