In the 8th minute Timofey Melnikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Skallagrimur booed when Feiko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Þiðrik Þengilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Uni Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Johan Hænsson fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Feiko FC's protests and gave Johan Hænsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Feiko FC got a freekick which was hit by Johan Hænsson. Johan Hænsson kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippus Þorsteinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Skallagrimur's Filippus Þorsteinsson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, Timofey Melnikov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. Feiko FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timofey Melnikov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 36 minutes into the match, Skallagrimur's goal looked a bit too open when Max Hrafnsson came free, but Marek Wielopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Leszek Zywiec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 43 minutes into the match, Feiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filippus Þorsteinsson came free, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Þiðrik Þengilsson during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uni Gunnarsson to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Filippus Þorsteinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skallagrimur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippus Þorsteinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Feiko FC's Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson got control of the ball when Timofey Melnikov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Skallagrimur were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Feiko FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Þrastar Siggeirsson took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Þrastar Siggeirsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th minute Timofey Melnikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61st play minutes Leszek Zywiec shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson and just under the crossbar into goal. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uni Gunnarsson went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the game, Uni Gunnarsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippus Þorsteinsson in the 74th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Filippus Þorsteinsson put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. After some careless play in the Feiko FC defense, Uni Gunnarsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. The Feiko FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson should have stopped the shot. Hásteinn Ólason hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uni Gunnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Feiko FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Skallagrimur were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
