With a little luck, Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo got control of the ball when Raimundo Ventura tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Raimundo Ventura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ademar Azevedo. Sporting Clube Patrício's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Ventura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Raimundo Ventura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ademar Azevedo made a huge save. In the 33rd minute of the match Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a corner. Sporting Clube Patrício's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victoriano Ubelteso ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Lopes in the 37th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Magno Dias made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Qiu Chuan Ran was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s 周平荣 got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonzalo Lixandro made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Teodoro Onofre got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Victoriano Ubelteso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. reached it. Magno Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Qiu Chuan Ran made a huge save. Magno Dias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Qiu Chuan Ran skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sporting Clube Patrício made a substitution. Tomás Portugal replaced Magno Dias. A nice corner shot did that Victoriano Ubelteso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ademar Azevedo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ademar Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Ventura in the 65th minute of the match. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Perathoner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Menelaos Damianos was substituted for Victoriano Ubelteso. Bernard Perathoner kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Tomás Portugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Qiu Chuan Ran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Lixandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Azevedo having to interfere. Ademar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Ventura, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. were awarded a corner. Venedikt Ukraintsev went to the cornerflag to take it. Bernard Perathoner made a great header on Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s corner, it was just that Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting Clube Patrício's Tomás Portugal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Qiu Chuan Ran. That made the score 1-2 after 88 minutes of play. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Veríssimo Montenegro was substituted for Israel Carvalhal. After 93 played minutes Sporting Clube Patrício got a freekick which was hit by Alişan Bağışhan. When Tomás Portugal came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Sporting Clube Patrício fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Portugal couldn't finish the play. The Sporting Clube Patrício players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
