Fredy Montero hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Jorge Lisboa kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Zarco Lameiras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ademar Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Lisboa in the 9th minute of the match. Sporting Clube de Gaya's António Trubin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube de Gaya from getting a goal against them. Ademar Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredy Montero in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalkeeper António Trubin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zarco Lameiras. Sporting Clube de Gaya's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Tomás Portugal scored to the left of an out of position António Trubin, making the score, 2-0. In the 25th minute, Tomás Portugal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of António Trubin. The goal made the score 3-0. After 30 played minutes Sporting Clube de Gaya got a freekick which was hit by Wilfried Zaha. 36 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's Zarco Lameiras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Trubin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. António Trubin made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Devran Aktürk sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the game, Sporting Clube de Gaya's Manuel Porto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ademar Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Tomás Portugal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of António Trubin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Manuel Porto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ademar Azevedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. António Trubin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarco Lameiras in the 53rd minute of play. When Sporting Clube Patrício's Zarco Lameiras in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Magno Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Maia in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Trubin saved Sporting Clube de Gaya from getting behind. Horácio Pedroso made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sporting Clube Patrício's Paulo Assis. In the 90thth minute of the game Magno Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Clube de Gaya's António Trubin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Magno Dias notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Sporting Clube de Gaya's António Trubin. António Trubin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sporting Clube Patrício were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sporting Clube de Gaya for a fine match.
