The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Smiddy Celts booed when Chelsea Headhunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Lampa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Gonzalo Otsoko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute Chelsea Headhunters were awarded a corner. Knut Sandström went to the cornerflag to take it. Chelsea Headhunters's Gonzalo Otsoko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jesse McJames in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jesse McJames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Lampa in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute Karol Lampa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse McJames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Chelsea Headhunters got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Matxin. Jesse McJames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Otsoko in the 17th minute of play. Chelsea Headhunters were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Smiddy Celts's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Knut Sandström took the corner. Phillip McKeochan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Gonzalo Otsoko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Chelsea Headhunters's Joe McGeachin in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Smiddy Celts's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Joe McGeachin sped through Smiddy Celts's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesse McJames. Jesse McJames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Lampa in the 37th minute of the match. Jesse McJames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Otsoko, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Otsoko in the 42nd minute of play. Joshua Cumming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesse McJames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Cumming, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chelsea Headhunters had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
