Adán Barnard kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match it was 2-0 when Alvaro Muno shot a long shot which zipped by Valpo UXX's goalkeeper at the right pole. Waldo Ponce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Zhi Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Yan Zhi Chuan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Waldo Ponce skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Valpo UXX defense, Yan Zhi Chuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldo Ponce. The Valpo UXX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldo Ponce should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Valpo UXX's Waldo Ponce got control of the ball when Yan Zhi Chuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yan Zhi Chuans short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Waldo Ponce to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rolando Solares scored 9-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldo Ponce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the game, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Yan Zhi Chuan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldo Ponce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. David Adaro hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Valpo UXX's zone, Yan Zhi Chuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldo Ponce came out of the goal and Yan Zhi Chuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
