Pablo Victoriano came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Algarrobo's Jack Madison. But to his dismay, Jack Madison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. In the 43rd minute Diego Armando Lamb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Victoriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Leal's late challenge caught a Algarrobo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Leal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, hdp's Cipriano Leal got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Niguel Pasten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pablo Victoriano. hdp's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Algarrobo's Diego Armando Lamb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Victoriano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-11 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baudelio Saso made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Diego Armando Lamb notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of hdp's Pablo Victoriano. The crowd rose to their feet as Algarrobo's Edmundo Cañas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pablo Victoriano. That made the score 0-14 after 59 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Ignacio Vera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pablo Victoriano. That made the score 0-15 in the 62 minute of play. In the 65th minute Diego Armando Lamb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Victoriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
