Spectators: 10883 (Terracing: 8163, Seating: 2503, VIP seats: 217) Royal Caribbean's Roman Baibakov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chus Rodríguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Lozano in the 2nd minute of play. Patricio Veguri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Chus Rodríguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Rapid Punta Cana's Chus Rodríguez threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Veguri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Rapid Punta Cana's Patricio Veguri in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Royal Caribbean's goalie prevented a goal. Chus Rodríguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Veguri in the 12th minute of play. Chus Rodríguez stood somewhat misplaced when Patricio Veguri came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. After 17 minutes of play, Rapid Punta Cana's Domingo Lozano made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chus Rodríguez was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Patricio Veguri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chus Rodríguez came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid Punta Cana's Domingo Lozano. But to his dismay, Domingo Lozano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Chus Rodríguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Veguri's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. When Rapid Punta Cana's Patricio Veguri in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Royal Caribbean's goalie prevented a goal. After 32 minutes of play, Rapid Punta Cana's Patricio Veguri made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chus Rodríguez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Royal Caribbean's zone, Nwakamma Anthony stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chus Rodríguez came out of the goal and Nwakamma Anthony tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alcibíades Abreu made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pablo Chapado however managed to control. 37 minutes into the game, Rapid Punta Cana's Patricio Veguri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chus Rodríguez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 40th minute, Patricio Veguri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rapid Punta Cana's Ali Atıf Harmanda managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alcibíades Abreu in the 44 minute of the game. Patricio Veguri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Chus Rodríguez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Segovia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chus Rodríguez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Veguri made a kick off. Chus Rodríguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Veguri in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Nwakamma Anthony cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Chus Rodríguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rapid Punta Cana's Domingo Lozano got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65thth minute of the game Patricio Veguri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Royal Caribbean's Chus Rodríguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rapid Punta Cana were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Royal Caribbean's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domingo Lozano took the corner. The corner ended in Ali Atıf Harmanda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Royal Caribbean's Chus Rodríguez did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Patricio Veguri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapid Punta Cana's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Veguri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chus Rodríguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patricio Veguri in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chus Rodríguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the match, Patricio Veguri notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Royal Caribbean's Chus Rodríguez. Chus Rodríguez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Rapid Punta Cana fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Rapid Punta Cana's Patricio Veguri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 85 minutes into the game, Alcibíades Abreu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rapid Punta Cana's Ali Atıf Harmanda quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Royal Caribbean defense, Patricio Veguri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chus Rodríguez. The Royal Caribbean fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chus Rodríguez should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Caribbean's zone, Patricio Veguri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chus Rodríguez came out of the goal and Patricio Veguri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Veguri scored 13-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chus Rodríguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chus Rodríguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Veguri in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Royal Caribbean players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rapid Punta Cana.
