After a defensive mix-up in Royal Caribbean's zone, Rogerio Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chus Rodríguez came out of the goal and Rogerio Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Diego Parra came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the 4 de Julio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Parra couldn't finish the play. Chus Rodríguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogerio Godoy's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Pablo Chapado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paco Puente having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Aranda in the 10th minute of play forced Royal Caribbean's goalkeeper Chus Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Buenaventura Zambrano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chus Rodríguez came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by 4 de Julio's Wilfredo Pennigan. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Pennigan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute, Diego Parra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 4 de Julio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Aranda in the 19th minute of play forced Royal Caribbean's goalkeeper Chus Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chus Rodríguez came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by 4 de Julio's Rogerio Godoy. But to his dismay, Rogerio Godoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 24th minute Royal Caribbean were awarded a corner. Roman Baibakov went to the cornerflag to take it. After 28 minutes of play, 4 de Julio's Rogerio Godoy made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chus Rodríguez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, Diego Parra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chus Rodríguez. Royal Caribbean's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Parra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Royal Caribbean's Chus Rodríguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Aranda in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Aranda in the 41st minute of play forced Royal Caribbean's goalkeeper Chus Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Damaso Aranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chus Rodríguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rogerio Godoy fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 4 de Julio's protests and gave Rogerio Godoy a yellow card for diving instead.

Paco Puente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Guzmán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chus Rodríguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfirio Aristizábal, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Chus Rodríguez was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Rogerio Godoy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rogerio Godoy really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Rogerio Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. 4 de Julio's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogerio Godoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chus Rodríguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Pennigan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chus Rodríguez. Wilfredo Pennigan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Diego Parra took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chus Rodríguez. Chus Rodríguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Paco Puente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Baibakov in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Royal Caribbean getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pablo Chapado hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Pablo Chapado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Royal Caribbean's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Steuble came free, but Chus Rodríguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chus Rodríguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogerio Godoy in the 77th minute. Pablo Chapado kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Royal Caribbean's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Raphael Steuble 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. After 90 played minutes Royal Caribbean got a freekick which was hit by Buenaventura Zambrano. Raphael Steuble received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chus Rodríguez came out and tried to block the shot, but Raphael Steuble slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 91st minute. Rogerio Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chus Rodríguez having to interfere. The Royal Caribbean fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 4 de Julio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
