Chus Rodríguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Villanueva in the 12th minute of the match. Casimiro Villanueva scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chus Rodríguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chus Rodríguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hanley Morrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, Club Atlético Univ. UASD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Villanueva to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Baibakov got free with Yánez Aldaeta in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Casimiro Villanueva made a precise shot to the right of Chus Rodríguez. Royal Caribbean's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Chus Rodríguez came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Univ. UASD's Casimiro Villanueva. But to his dismay, Casimiro Villanueva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. A collision led to Club Atlético Univ. UASD getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gonzalo Archibeque hit a great ball. Yánez Aldaeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Baibakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Royal Caribbean's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Villanueva came free, but Chus Rodríguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chus Rodríguez came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Univ. UASD's Hanley Morrison. But to his dismay, Hanley Morrison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Royal Caribbean's Chus Rodríguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hanley Morrison in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Casimiro Villanueva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Chus Rodríguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chus Rodríguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Archibeque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Royal Caribbean got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Carrera. Casimiro Villanueva, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Casimiro Villanueva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chus Rodríguez. Royal Caribbean's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimiro Villanueva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Baibakov was the one to do the kick off. From close distance Casimiro Villanueva pressed in the 0-9 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 57 minutes into the game. Chus Rodríguez was a little too slow when Norbert Gutiev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-10. Casimiro Villanueva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Chus Rodríguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chus Rodríguez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohsen Jaziri went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Casimiro Villanueva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Villanueva got free with Chus Rodríguez in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Royal Caribbean's Chus Rodríguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Royal Caribbean from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Gonzalo Archibeque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chus Rodríguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Casimiro Villanueva's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Chus Rodríguez firmly grabbed it by the left post. 79 minutes into the match, Hanley Morrison dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chus Rodríguez, 0-13. Hanley Morrison was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Club Atlético Univ. UASD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 84th minute, Hanley Morrison reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chus Rodríguez. The goal made the score 0-14. In the 87th minute Omar Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chus Rodríguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chus Rodríguez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Omar Palma showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 90 minute of play. Royal Caribbean's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Omar Palma scored to the left of an out of position Chus Rodríguez, making the score, 0-16. When Gonzalo Archibeque came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Club Atlético Univ. UASD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Archibeque couldn't finish the play. Club Atlético Univ. UASD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
