A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Agustín Zapata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilio Monroy was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Basilio Monroy came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Argen-Taino's Ramón Sosa. But to his dismay, Ramón Sosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jeremias Stewarts did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Basilio Monroy 17 minutes into the match. Basilio Monroy was a little too slow when Jeremias Stewarts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phil Mills got free with Basilio Monroy in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeremias Stewarts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Basilio Monroy made a huge save. Basilio Monroy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramón Sosa in the 29th minute. Jeremias Stewarts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basilio Monroy came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeremias Stewarts slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 30th minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Basilio Monroy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Argen-Taino's Jeremias Stewarts slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Basilio Monroy. That made the score 8-0 after 47 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Augusto Graham made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Agustín Zapata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basilio Monroy. Los Rios AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Zapata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 59th minute, Phil Mills made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Monroy. Los Rios AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. After a defensive mix-up in Los Rios AD's zone, Graciano Verón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Monroy came out of the goal and Graciano Verón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Jeremias Stewarts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Monroy was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Argen-Taino's Gonzalo Vinicio was substituted for Graciano Verón. Basilio Monroy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Sosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Agustín Zapata took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basilio Monroy. Basilio Monroy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 17-0. There was no doubt that Argen-Taino were the better team. Argen-Taino's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
