The throw-in from Dionisio Cuéllar in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by 4 de Julio's Teddy Garde. François Manche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Pennigan in the 9th minute of play forced Mao CP's goalkeeper Eladio Vinicio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eladio Vinicio made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when François Manche sent off a good shot on target. Eladio Vinicio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfirio Aristizábal, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Wilfredo Pennigan struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Eladio Vinicio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 4 de Julio. Eladio Vinicio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Aranda went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Eladio Vinicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from François Manche in the 20th minute of the match. Eladio Vinicio was a little too slow when Diego Parra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Martín Noboa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes Mao CP got a freekick which was hit by Germán Lemos. Teddy Garde took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eladio Vinicio. Mao CP's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by François Manche in the 33rd minute of play forced Mao CP's goalkeeper Eladio Vinicio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martín Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paco Puente having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Teddy Garde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 4 de Julio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Mao CP's Eladio Vinicio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Mao CP from getting a goal against them. After 42 minutes of play, 4 de Julio's François Manche made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eladio Vinicio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Diego Parra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Mao CP's Eladio Vinicio got control of the ball when François Manche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eladio Vinicio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Aranda went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthony Matheus to strike the kick off in the second half. Eladio Vinicio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Aranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Eladio Vinicio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy Garde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, François Manche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Eladio Vinicio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eladio Vinicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Aranda in the 59th minute of the match. Eladio Vinicio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François Manche in the 60th minute of play. Eladio Vinicio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Aranda went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Mao CP's Eladio Vinicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Aranda in the 69th minute of play. Eladio Vinicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Parra in the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 4 de Julio's Salvador Ramos got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by François Manche in the 74th minute of play forced Mao CP's goalkeeper Eladio Vinicio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eladio Vinicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from François Manche in the 78th minute of the match. Eladio Vinicio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from François Manche, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Eladio Vinicio came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by 4 de Julio's François Manche. But to his dismay, François Manche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 4 de Julio's Raphael Steuble was substituted for Diego Parra. 91 minutes into the match, Damaso Aranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eladio Vinicio. Mao CP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Aranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Eladio Vinicio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from François Manche went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. 4 de Julio's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
