When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Patricio Veguri put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Basilio Monroy. In the 37th minute, Domingo Lozano made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Monroy. Los Rios AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 69thth minute of the game Patricio Veguri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Rios AD's Basilio Monroy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rapid Punta Cana's Patricio Veguri got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basilio Monroy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Lozano in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rapid Punta Cana fully deserved thier win.
