But to his dismay, Güray Altunışık quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 10th minute, Lucas Beltran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Jonathan Tiger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Beltran's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 16 minutes, Lucas Beltran made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Carapichaima's Jonathan Tiger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Beltran in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Tiger saved Carapichaima from getting behind. Jonathan Tiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Beltran in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Lucas Beltran notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Carapichaima's Jonathan Tiger. Jonathan Tiger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Tiger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Beltran's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Jonathan Tiger didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Nacional's Lucas Beltran shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. When Codruț Şunda came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FC Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codruț Şunda couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-10 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Beltran was the one to do the kick off. FC Nacional made a substitution. Scott Garcia replaced Bertie Wolfe. In the 72nd match minute, Carapichaima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Webber to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sundar Beckles in the 78th minute of play forced FC Nacional's goalkeeper Cipriano Virila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carapichaima's Jonathan Tiger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Carapichaima from getting a goal against them. In the 84th match minute, Carapichaima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nyron Stalin to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Enrique Rayman in the 85th minute really tested Jonathan Tiger's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cipriano Virila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sundar Beckles in the 86th minute of play. A hard shot 91 in the game by Lucas Beltran from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Tiger managed to make a qualified save. Carapichaima's players were relieved. The FC Nacional fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when FC Nacional's Lucas Beltran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-16 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Scott Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Scott Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Tiger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, FC Nacional's Lucas Beltran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Tiger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Carapichaima fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Nacional were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
