Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sundar Beckles made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Sundar Beckles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralph Charles. Under 21 Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sundar Beckles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Carapichaima's goal looked a bit too open when Winston Castagne came free, but Jonathan Tiger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sundar Beckles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Winston Castagne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Under 21 Club getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Brother St Clair hit a great ball. Ralph Charles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sundar Beckles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Under 21 Club's Ralph Charles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sundar Beckles in the 38th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Under 21 Club's Winston Castagne made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Tiger was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The wind increased when Dominic Connell made the kick off in the second half. Kern Baptiste kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Sundar Beckles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralph Charles was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Delon Assoon kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Winston Castagne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Jonathan Tiger managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Under 21 Club's Dominic Connell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dominic Connells short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Jonathan Tiger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Basdeo Barriteau hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to Carapichaima getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Basdeo Barriteau hit a great ball. Jonathan Tiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winston Castagne in the 69th minute of the match. Jonathan Tiger came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Under 21 Club's Dominic Connell. But to his dismay, Dominic Connell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After 78 minutes, Vasant Mc Donald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carapichaima and the Under 21 Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vasant Mc Donald kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Winston Castagne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jonathan Tiger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominic Connell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jonathan Tiger made a huge save. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-4 when Winston Castagne sped through Carapichaima's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Tiger. Jonathan Tiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winston Castagne in the 87th minute of the match. Dominic Connell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Tiger firmly grabbed it by the left post. Under 21 Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
