The Atletico Aragua FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. New Galaxy Szans made a substitution. Bernaldo Torrez replaced Salamon Buelva. 19 minutes into the match, Lauro Acebal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calixto Cobian. New Galaxy Szans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauro Acebal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. New Galaxy Szans's Calixto Cobian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Acebal in the 21st minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Lauro Acebal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Galaxy Szans's Calixto Cobian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernaldo Torrez got free with Haitz Langarica in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, New Galaxy Szans's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Collins came free, but Calixto Cobian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, New Galaxy Szans's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Azpiroz came free, but Calixto Cobian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calixto Cobian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Collins in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Haitz Langarica, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Azpiroz in the 38th minute of play forced New Galaxy Szans's goalkeeper Calixto Cobian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, New Galaxy Szans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordon Norst to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, New Galaxy Szans's Bras Pavieta got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute Lauro Acebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calixto Cobian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Lauro Acebal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Bernaldo Torrez made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Severino Azpiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calixto Cobian was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Arnold Collins made a great header on Atletico Aragua FC's corner, it was just that New Galaxy Szans's Calixto Cobian managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Atletico Aragua FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Pencho Gramatikov hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernaldo Torrez in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haitz Langarica saved Atletico Aragua FC from getting behind. When Bernaldo Torrez came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the New Galaxy Szans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernaldo Torrez couldn't finish the play. New Galaxy Szans were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Atletico Aragua FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bras Pavieta took the corner. Haitz Langarica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernaldo Torrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th match minute, Atletico Aragua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txomin Risel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 74 minutes, Dagoberto Moreyre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Galaxy Szans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Moreyre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Bernaldo Torrez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Aragua FC's Haitz Langarica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernaldo Torrez struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Haitz Langarica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Galaxy Szans. Atletico Aragua FC's Derwin Ungo was substituted for Severino Azpiroz. Bernaldo Torrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Haitz Langarica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernaldo Torrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Bernaldo Torrez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haitz Langarica was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The Atletico Aragua FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
