Bras Pavieta was slow to take the kick. During this time New Galaxy Szans's players had a chance to rest. Bras Pavieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zarando Calva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Zarando Calva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bras Pavieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ponce Roig in the 20th minute of play forced New Galaxy Szans's goalkeeper Calixto Cobian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ponce Roig in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calixto Cobian saved New Galaxy Szans from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, New Galaxy Szans's Bras Pavieta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zarando Calva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Atlético de Caracas's goal looked a bit too open when Bras Pavieta came free, but Zarando Calva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Atlético de Caracas defense, Bras Pavieta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zarando Calva. The Atlético de Caracas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zarando Calva should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, New Galaxy Szans's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Alley came free, but Calixto Cobian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calixto Cobian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Alley, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Calixto Cobian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Alley in the 29th minute of play. Sixto Lluc hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Calixto Cobian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Alley in the 53rd minute of play. Bras Pavieta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zarando Calva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bras Pavieta in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, New Galaxy Szans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Librado Salceda to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Aires Laguno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calixto Cobian. New Galaxy Szans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aires Laguno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 73rd minute Rolando Alley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calixto Cobian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calixto Cobian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janes Gobbelijns in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético de Caracas's goalkeeper Zarando Calva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute of the match New Galaxy Szans got a corner. Atlético de Caracas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bras Pavieta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zarando Calva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernaldo Torrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Atlético de Caracas booed when New Galaxy Szans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ugutz Canales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bras Pavieta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Zarando Calva made a huge save. Calixto Cobian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Alley in the 84th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, New Galaxy Szans's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Alley came free, but Calixto Cobian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bras Pavieta in the 90th minute of play forced Atlético de Caracas's goalkeeper Zarando Calva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Atlético de Caracas getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Rolando Alley hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Atlético de Caracas's goalkeeper Zarando Calva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bras Pavieta. In the 95th minute, Zaquiel Cubo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernaldo Torrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Atlético de Caracas failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
