Faustino Asprilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Ruy having to make a save. The coaching staff of Cantera De Héroes F.C ® protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mikelar Borines had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 95 minutes into the game, one of Cantera De Héroes F.C ®:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the final whistle went the supporters of América United FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Cantera De Héroes F.C ® side.
