After having played for 5 minutes, Teobald Brack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But to his dismay, Harriet Basabe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Akakios Kakavitsas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harriet Basabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Roig in the 19th minute of play forced Leeds United FC's goalkeeper Akakios Kakavitsas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Roig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Akakios Kakavitsas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Harriet Basabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akakios Kakavitsas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Roig got free with Akakios Kakavitsas in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
