Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernie Butterfield took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bryden Hitchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernie Butterfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute Drew Christian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Drew Christian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Simpson having to interfere. Bryden Hitchen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernie Butterfield in the 8th minute of the match. Grant Bundy in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bryden Hitchen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With 11 minutes on the clock, Tobie Lyle commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Meredith FC! The referee gave Bulahdelah FC a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Grant Bundy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Meredith FC's Bryden Hitchen. 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Meredith FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clark Yard came free, but Bryden Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drew Christian's late challenge caught a Bulahdelah FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Drew Christian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Drew Christian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Clark Yard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bryden Hitchen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the game, Marshal Isaac recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bryden Hitchen. Marshal Isaac showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Marshal Isaacs short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Bryden Hitchen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bryden Hitchen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernie Butterfield in the 33rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Grant Bundy sped through Meredith FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bryden Hitchen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grant Bundy got free with Bryden Hitchen in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Meredith FC's Bryden Hitchen got control of the ball when Marshal Isaac tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute Clark Yard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryden Hitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryden Hitchen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marshal Isaac showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Drew Christian to strike the kick off in the second half. Bryden Hitchen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernie Butterfield went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute, Grant Bundy made a precise shot to the right of Bryden Hitchen. Meredith FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Bryden Hitchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grant Bundy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albert Simpson made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Drew Christian sent off a good shot on target. Bryden Hitchen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marshal Isaac, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Bulahdelah FC's Albert Simpson got control of the ball when Drew Christian tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, Bulahdelah FC's Bernie Butterfield made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryden Hitchen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bryden Hitchen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grant Bundy in the 67th minute of the match. Bryden Hitchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marshal Isaac in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Bulahdelah FC's goalkeeper Albert Simpson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Browne Boyce. In the 72nd match minute, Meredith FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew Christian to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Browne Boyce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meredith FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Browne Boyce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Simpson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Bulahdelah FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Marshal Isaac hit a great ball. Meredith FC's Drew Christian got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Drew Christian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Bernie Butterfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bulahdelah FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Browne Boyce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Simpson having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marshal Isaac during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bulahdelah FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marshal Isaac hit a great ball. A hard shot by Browne Boyce from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Albert Simpson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Albert Simpson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Browne Boyce in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Bernie Butterfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryden Hitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Marshal Isaac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Browne Boyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Meredith FC defense, Clark Yard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bryden Hitchen. The Meredith FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bryden Hitchen should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Meredith FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bulahdelah FC.
