Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrew Kean started the match with the kick off. Bradley Szobczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joseph Jackson in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Tremont's goal looked a bit too open when Cain Gracey came free, but Bradley Szobczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Brock Jackson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tremont's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yellourn FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tremont's Brock Jackson got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute Cain Gracey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Szobczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Yellourn FC's Cain Gracey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Joseph Jackson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bradley Szobczak. Joseph Jackson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Yellourn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brett Coburn came free, but Carman Salcedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bradley Szobczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Jackson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yellourn FC's Carman Salcedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bozhko Arabadzhiyski in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrew Kean in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carman Salcedo saved Yellourn FC from getting behind. After 32 minutes, Rudy Durbin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yellourn FC and the Tremont players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bradley Szobczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cain Gracey, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Tremont's Andrew Kean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carman Salcedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Cain Gracey made the kick off in the second half. Tremont's Bradley Szobczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cain Gracey in the 52nd minute of play. Carman Salcedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrew Kean in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Cain Gracey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bradley Szobczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Kyle Bailey charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kyle Bailey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tremont booed when Yellourn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Bailey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrew Kean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carman Salcedo having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Rudy Durbin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bradley Szobczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 70th minute, Cain Gracey made a precise shot to the right of Bradley Szobczak. Tremont's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. With a little luck, Yellourn FC's Carman Salcedo got control of the ball when Andrew Kean tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrew Kean's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Carman Salcedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bozhko Arabadzhiyski's late challenge caught a Yellourn FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yellourn FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
