Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Keefer Turnbull made the kick off which started today's match. Eavan Gledden kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Carman Salcedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Downing Delahide, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Don Osvaldo FC got a freekick which was hit by Keefer Turnbull. In the 23rd minute, Joseph Jackson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bodo Rudwaleit was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 26th minute Keefer Turnbull shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Baxter hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Downing Delahide might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carman Salcedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Downing Delahide ran back to his position shaking his head. After 30 played minutes Banyena got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Jackson. Joseph Jackson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bodo Rudwaleit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bodo Rudwaleit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cain Gracey in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Cain Gracey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banyena's supporters rose to their feet, but Cain Gracey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bodo Rudwaleit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Durbin in the 39th minute of play forced Don Osvaldo FC's goalkeeper Bodo Rudwaleit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keefer Turnbull took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carman Salcedo. Carman Salcedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 44 minutes into the game, Don Osvaldo FC's Keefer Turnbull nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carman Salcedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After the first half Don Osvaldo FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cain Gracey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Keefer Turnbull shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57th play minutes Keefer Turnbull shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Carman Salcedo and just under the crossbar into goal. Joseph Jackson struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Bodo Rudwaleit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banyena. After 63 minutes, Laurence Grieve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Don Osvaldo FC and the Banyena players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Don Osvaldo FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Laurence Grieve hit a great ball. Cain Gracey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bodo Rudwaleit. Don Osvaldo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Cain Gracey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banyena's supporters rose to their feet, but Cain Gracey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bodo Rudwaleit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the game, Keefer Turnbull was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Don Osvaldo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banyena the free kick. After a rather tough play, Don Osvaldo FC's Keefer Turnbull got a free kick in the 71st minute. Bodo Rudwaleit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cain Gracey in the 73rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Cassidy Sewell in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Don Osvaldo FC's Broderick Todman. Clark Muller charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clark Muller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Banyena got a freekick which was hit by Clark Muller. 82 minutes into the match, Banyena's goalkeeper Carman Salcedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keefer Turnbull. In the 85th minute, Laurence Grieve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Don Osvaldo FC's Bodo Rudwaleit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clark Muller in the 91st minute of play. Bodo Rudwaleit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Jackson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bodo Rudwaleit didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clark Muller went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The Don Osvaldo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Don Osvaldo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
