Black Pink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Sentosa in the 12th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Hasan Sentosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Black Pink was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th match minute, Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Roncaglia to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Giant's Hardy Karaeng dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, Hardy Karaeng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bedir Erdönmez. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hardy Karaeng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Bedir Erdönmez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hardy Karaeng, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Black Pink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Sentosa in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë booed when Giant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Hartono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Fiori Guimarães got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hasan Sentosa was the one to do the kick off. Black Pink made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Hasan Sentosa sent off a good shot on target. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Giant's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fiori Guimarães was slow to take the kick. During this time Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Fiori Guimarães got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Black Pink quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasan Sentosa got free with Black Pink in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 played minutes Giant got a freekick which was hit by Adnan Hartono. In the 65th minute, Hasan Sentosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Hardy Karaeng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bedir Erdönmez was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Hasan Sentosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Black Pink. That made the score 2-3 after 68 minutes of play. If Hasan Sentosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hasan Sentosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Black Pink made a huge save. The Giant fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Black Pink should have stopped the shot. After 95 played minutes Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë got a freekick which was hit by Ellie Somantri. The supporters of Giant booed when Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ellie Somantri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
