Basem Shadad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but 李庭飞 made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Fuyaira SC's Saher Al Dowaisan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Saher Al Dowaisan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fuyaira SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Saher Al Dowaisan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain booed when Fuyaira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saher Al Dowaisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Eshaq Al Khars managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's supporters rose to their feet, but Eshaq Al Khars was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aesem Khaja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's 李庭飞 got control of the ball when Basem Shadad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's 李庭飞 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain from getting a goal against them. Khalaf Al Herz's late challenge caught a Fuyaira SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Khalaf Al Herz helped the player get up and apologised. Khalaf Al Herz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Fuyaira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basem Shadad to maneuver through the defense. Aesem Khaja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yasser Shadad's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Aesem Khaja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salam Al Hashash in the 25th minute of play. When Monther Al Ateqi fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's protests and gave Monther Al Ateqi a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain got a freekick which was hit by Monther Al Ateqi. Basem Shadad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adem Boften received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. 李庭飞 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Yasser Shadad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fuyaira SC's Aesem Khaja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aesem Khaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalaf Al Herz in the 38th minute of the match. If Lafi Bo Shehri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 51st minute, Dawood Al Enzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's goal looked a bit too open when Adem Boften came free, but 李庭飞 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match, Khalaf Al Herz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aesem Khaja saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fuyaira SC's Aesem Khaja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalaf Al Herz in the 64th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain got a freekick which was hit by Yasser Shadad. In the 69th match minute, Fuyaira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seraj Al Khobaize to maneuver through the defense. 0-1 became the score in the 70th minute when Khalaf Al Herz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 76th minute Basem Shadad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 李庭飞 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Doaej Al Harban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuyaira SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doaej Al Harban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doaej Al Harban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. 李庭飞 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aesem Khaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salam Al Hashash in the 88th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, Fuyaira SC's Adem Boften made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 李庭飞 was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's Yasser Shadad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aesem Khaja. Aesem Khaja yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.
