When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vahdet Olgun made a kick off. 4-0 became the score in the 51st minute when Vahdet Olgun elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 57th minute Vahdet Olgun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Zander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vahdet Olgun went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Sten Zander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vahdet Olgun, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ali Al Arbash hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Ghazi Al Fadhalah fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al Wasl Dubai FC's protests and gave Ghazi Al Fadhalah a yellow card for diving instead.
