Spectators: 8125 (Terracing: 6095, Seating: 1869, VIP seats: 161) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodolfo Rossello kicked off to start the match. In the 12th minute, Davor Šuker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Godofredo Cuervas. The goal made the score 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Davor Šuker dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Godofredo Cuervas, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Beniamin Giejda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Cuervas was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Gualter Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Godofredo Cuervas made a huge save. With a little luck, Cotinho F.C's Godofredo Cuervas got control of the ball when Beniamin Giejda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cotinho F.C's Godofredo Cuervas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Cotinho F.C from getting a goal against them. Godofredo Cuervas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davor Šuker's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The attack was good, but when Rodolfo Rossello in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 38th minute, Davor Šuker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Burgas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Davor Šuker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cotinho F.C's Godofredo Cuervas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Cotinho F.C from getting a goal against them. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davor Šuker to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Cotinho F.C defense, Davor Šuker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godofredo Cuervas. The Cotinho F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godofredo Cuervas should have stopped the shot. After 54 minutes of play, Sporting Burgas's Vintilă Ghițulescu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Cuervas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vintilă Ghițulescu took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godofredo Cuervas. Godofredo Cuervas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mac Aron in the 60th minute of play forced Cotinho F.C's goalkeeper Godofredo Cuervas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godofredo Cuervas came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Burgas's Gualter Moura. But to his dismay, Gualter Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. If Davor Šuker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Davor Šuker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godofredo Cuervas having to make a save. Godofredo Cuervas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Moura in the 79th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Davor Šuker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Godofredo Cuervas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vintilă Ghițulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godofredo Cuervas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vintilă Ghițulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Vintilă Ghițulescu sped through Cotinho F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Godofredo Cuervas. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sporting Burgas had played much better football throughout.
