The crowd rose to their feet as Mondorf Forest's Linus Göbl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrick Stoffel. That made the score 5-0 after 41 minutes of play. In the 45th minute Ruben Schmit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Stoffel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Stoffel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Göbl in the 45th minute of play. Ruben Schmit's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patrick Stoffel firmly grabbed it by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmondo Venditti to strike the kick off in the second half. Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Patrick Stoffel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Schmit in the 72nd minute of play. Patrick Stoffel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Horowitz in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Vincent Gessler notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Patrick Stoffel.
