Spectators: 10824 (Terracing: 8119, Seating: 2489, VIP seats: 216) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gregory Apfelbaum kicked off to start the match. Patrick Stoffel came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Van Der Ley FC's Mark Klingelmann. But to his dismay, Mark Klingelmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siegfried Brötzmann in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Stoffel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Peter Guillou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Van Der Ley FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Patrick Stoffel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Guillou, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Guillou to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Peter Guillou reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrick Stoffel. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 59th minute, Hellmuth Otto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes, Van Der Ley FC's Dagobert von Hompesch zu Bolheim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Stoffel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Van Der Ley FC reached it. 62 minutes into the match, Siegfried Brötzmann notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Patrick Stoffel. Patrick Stoffel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Patrick Stoffel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Guillou in the 78th minute of play. After 78 minutes of play Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Gregory Apfelbaum was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 79th match minute, Gebrüdersdorfer SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregory Apfelbaum to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes Gebrüdersdorfer SV got a freekick which was hit by Yannick Kremer. After 82 minutes of play, Van Der Ley FC's Peter Guillou made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Stoffel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrick Stoffel was a little too slow when Siegfried Brötzmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-10. 88 minutes into the game, Van Der Ley FC's Peter Guillou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Stoffel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Peter Guillous short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Patrick Stoffel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gebrüdersdorfer SV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Van Der Ley FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
