If Vincent Hislop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Hasselbach kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 8 minutes, Edmondo Venditti made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. The Evil Project's Armin Baumgärtner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmondo Venditti struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Armin Baumgärtner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mondorf Forest. In the 13th match minute, The Evil Project was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Werner to maneuver through the defense. Vincent Hislop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Andre Rosenkranz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Evil Project's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre Rosenkranz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmondo Venditti was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Mondorf Forest's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bobby Bausch charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bobby Bausch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of The Evil Project booed when Mondorf Forest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby Bausch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Mick Bronner managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Evil Project's supporters rose to their feet, but Mick Bronner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Steffen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vincent Hislop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in The Evil Project's zone, Vincent Hislop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armin Baumgärtner came out of the goal and Vincent Hislop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th match minute, Mondorf Forest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Hantzsch to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, The Evil Project's Armin Baumgärtner got control of the ball when Edmondo Venditti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmondo Venditti did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Armin Baumgärtner 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Mondorf Forest's Vincent Hislop ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armin Baumgärtner. Armin Baumgärtner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mattias Werner was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Mondorf Forest got a freekick which was hit by Lazlo Guttenbrunn. When Julien Grünfeld fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Evil Project's protests and gave Julien Grünfeld a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, The Evil Project's Theo Behringer got a free kick in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Mondorf Forest's Martin Steffen got control of the ball when Theo Behringer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armin Baumgärtner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Venditti, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Linus Göbl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Baumgärtner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vincent Hislop came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mondorf Forest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Hislop couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes of play, Mondorf Forest's Edmondo Venditti made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armin Baumgärtner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mondorf Forest's Stefan Horowitz was substituted for Edmondo Venditti. Martin Steffen was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Mattias Werner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mattias Werner really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. Armin Baumgärtner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Hislop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armin Baumgärtner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincent Hislop's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute Vincent Hislop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Baumgärtner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andre Rosenkranz's late challenge caught a Mondorf Forest's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andre Rosenkranz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Andre Rosenkranz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Evil Project's Armin Baumgärtner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Horowitz in the 94th minute of play. Armin Baumgärtner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Horowitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Mondorf Forest players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
