When Matty Winkler fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stanway FC's protests and gave Matty Winkler a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stanway FC! Hugo Thorn shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Hugo Thorn sped through Stanway FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charles Furstenfeld. Lutz Knubel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Furstenfeld having to interfere. Hugo Thorn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles Furstenfeld having to make a save. Charles Furstenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lutz Knubel in the 19th minute of play. LuxTor's Eddy Diederich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max von Radowitz in the 20th minute of play. Charles Furstenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lutz Knubel in the 21st minute of the match. LuxTor's Eddy Diederich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save LuxTor from getting a goal against them. The supporters of LuxTor booed when Stanway FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julien Steffen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Julien Steffen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eddy Diederich. The goal made the score 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Julien Steffen made the kick off in the second half. If Andre Fabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, LuxTor's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Steffen came free, but Eddy Diederich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of LuxTor booed when Stanway FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liam Hahnemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stanway FC's zone, Lutz Knubel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Furstenfeld came out of the goal and Lutz Knubel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, one of Stanway FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stanway FC. The referee gave LuxTor a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hugo Thorn, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stanway FC's Charles Furstenfeld. 2-3. In the 82nd minute of the match Matty Winkler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eddy Diederich showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Lutz Knubel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddy Diederich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Faehlmann in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Axmann in the 91st minute of play forced LuxTor's goalkeeper Eddy Diederich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Stanway FC's Julien Steffen got a free kick in the 95th minute.
