In the 7thth minute of the game Theo Behringer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stanway FC's Charles Furstenfeld was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Stanway FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Max von Radowitz hit a great ball. When The Evil Project's Mattias Werner in 11 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Charles Furstenfeld guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Mattias Werner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Mattias Werner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Charles Furstenfeld was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liam Probst hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Michael Axmann took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Armin Baumgärtner to make any attempt to save it. Charles Furstenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Werner in the 24th minute of play. Liam Faehlmann kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Mick Bronner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charles Furstenfeld skillfully saved the ball. When Matty Winkler fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stanway FC's protests and gave Matty Winkler a yellow card for diving instead. Matty Winkler hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Oskar Knochenmus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charles Furstenfeld. Stanway FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 40th minute, Theo Behringer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mattias Werner was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Axmann in the 51st minute of play forced The Evil Project's goalkeeper Armin Baumgärtner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Julien Steffen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of The Evil Project's Armin Baumgärtner. Armin Baumgärtner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Julien Steffen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Theo Behringer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Evil Project fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The Evil Project's Theo Behringer was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 71 minutes, Liam Faehlmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stanway FC and the The Evil Project players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of The Evil Project booed when Stanway FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liam Faehlmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanway FC's Charles Furstenfeld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Stanway FC from getting a goal against them. Theo Behringer might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Furstenfeld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theo Behringer ran back to his position shaking his head. The Evil Project's Mick Bronner shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Charles Furstenfeld but with some difficulty. When Mattias Werner, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 90 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Charles Furstenfeld was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Michael Axmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Baumgärtner having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Evil Project walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
